Every change reaches production through one pipeline. Nobody deploys from a laptop.

Merge to main builds the image and deploys to staging.
A v* tag promotes the same image to production after the smoke test.
Rollback is re-promoting the previous tag, never a revert commit.

Where Open in terminal starts the session, so it decides which repository the work happens in.

Commit on claim

When a session claims a step, or writes the wrapup of a task with no checklist, everything in this folder is committed under a generated message and logged against that step or task. The session is told not to commit by hand.
